NARS Holiday 2011: Hanamichi Eyeshadow Palette

I’m late getting this. But I’m really glad that I finally got the Hanamichi Palette from NARS. It’s just stunning. The colors are all pigmented, and the presentation just defies description. I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.

You can find the Hanamichi Palette (and other NARS goodies) on the NARS website.

  1. the presentation is gorgeous! it looks like you'll be able to do alot of fun looks with this palette too.

  2. I agree… NARS really did an amazing job with the presentation. And the colors are all pigmented and gorgeous. I can't wait to try it out! The only thing is… I'll have to ruin that gorgeous pattern. 😦

It looks amazing! I'd be worried about ruining the pattern too, its so pretty 🙂

I ♥ that presentation! But when it comes to eyeshadow, YSL is the best, stays on for the longest time!

Shahada, do you have the same opinion as Gauri on YSL eyeshadows? And yes… this palette is incredible. The entire NARS holiday collection is beautiful.

  6. I'm honestly not a huge fan of YSL eyeshadows. They tend to rely more on shimmer and less on actual color payoff and staying power.I'm personally partial to Chanel eyeshadows because the pigmentation and staying power is the best I've found in palette shadows. Single eyeshadows are hit and miss for every brand. I've not found a single brand that gets it right every single time. But hey… to each his/her own. We all like what we like. There's no crime in that. 🙂 I think that when it comes to powder eyeshadows – ((uniform pigmentation and color payoff aside)) – it really just depends on the wearer.

I own this palette. I absolutely could not pass it up. But I agree with your previous comment — It's going to be such a bummer to ruin the gorgeous design.
