Blushed: MAC Tres Chic (Lovecloud)

I  never intended to fall in love with ANY of these blushes. The new Tres Chic collection from MAC features a soft palette of pinks, corals, and an unforgettable orange. Since I was too lazy to get up and head to the MAC store to look at them, I ordered what I thought I’d like online (I figure, if they suck, I can just take them back). I ordered every blush but Lovecloud and Pink Tea. I thought they looked like something I had before. I was only partially right.

Lovecloud is bright and intense… not quite pink and not quite coral. I was in Naimies yesterday and swatched it, and decided that it MUST come home with me…

The color is so much more intense than I thought it would be. It swatched beautifully on my warm skin tone…

Definite keeper. The other blushes are still en route; they’re supposed to get to me by the weekend. In the meantime, I’m going to have lots of fun playing with this one.

Lovecloud is pretty, but Modern Mandarin was the only blush I got from this collection and I love it. It's not as red as I thought. It's definitely coral, pigmented and smooth. One of my favorite blushes.

  2. Modern Mandarin is en route. Full of Joy is shockingly STUNNING. That, along with Lovecloud are the true surprises in this collection for me. The others look like I'd expect them to.
