Autumn 2013 at the House Of Chanel means the new Nuit Infinie collection. It’s all light and sparkle… and a little sculpt. That sculpt comes courtesy of a strange new blush, called Accent.
The cool mauve shimmer blush photographs warm, swatches cool, and sculpts the face in a way I’ve never seen a blush do before.
See how warm that shade looks? This is natural sunlight, with no filters and no flash. It looks almost pink. But it’s not. The color is definitely more of a mauve, warmed by neutral golden shimmer.
Here, you can see the neutrality of the shimmer. It looks amazing on my warm skintone. I wore it recently in an FOTD, and you can see what I mean by ‘sculpting’ blush…
That’s just using Accent as the blush. No other colors or contours were used in this look.
I find this blush pretty amazing. It’ll work on a wide range of skin tones… which is always a plus in my book.
Joues Contraste in Accent has yet to hit the Chanel website. However, it is currently available for purchase at Nordstrom.
