FOTD: Hepburn Honey

I want to prove just how awesome this color is as a nude on my warm skin tone. I really REALLY thought that Charlotte’s nude colors were going to go all kinds of wrong on me, but this one didn’t. It’s exquisite. The formula is so wonderful, and I love that I can just put this color on and go.

FACE

Shiseido Sheer & Perfect Foundation (Ivory 100)

Charlotte Tilbury Retoucher (#4)

Chanel Blush in Accent

EYES

Charlotte Tilbury Brow Lift (Cara)

MAC Eyeshadow in Omega (all over lid)

Charlotte Tilbury Rock & Kohl in Bedroom Black (lashline)

Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara

LIPS

Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Hepburn Honey

*My eyes are getting better, little by little. As you can see, there is a lot less red. I still can’t go full on with the eye makeup (I’m sure I’m being rebellious by using that little bit in the FOTD. But I’m being really protective of my waterline, and mascara on top lashes only), but it’s worth the wait.*

Girrrl…you better protect those eyes!! You didn’t use flash, did you? Lol, kidding. You look great. You’ve got me so interested in Charlotte T lipsticks. I’m about a shade darker than you with pigmented lips. You think this nude would still work?

  2. LOL! I am protecting them… I’m being good! hahaha Thank you for the compliment! I do love Hepburn Honey. I think that it might work with a warmer brown pencil underneath, to keep it from going pink. I’m surprised at how good it looks… truly a perfect nude for me.

Hepburn is a gorgeous nude on you. Like Helen my lips are a pigmented a little brown so I’m always struggling to find the right nudes. Any pencil recommendations?

  4. Thank you! I warm up cool nudes with Chanel’s lip pencil in Nude, or (for really tough cases) MAC Lip Liner in Hodgepodge.
