FOTD: Temporary Lighting Situation

I’ve lost access to my Diva Light and shooting space for a few days, so I’m making do with the vanity in my bathroom. No flash, and an extra light bulb, and it appears that the result might IMG_3407not be too bad. Plus the stark white background gives my skin a boost of warmth that was honestly lost using the Diva Light. No, that does not mean that I’m abandoning it. Yes, that does mean that I’m making some adjustments.

So… about this foundation routine. Since I got them, I’ve been using Cover FX Oil Drops (calming) and Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops. I use 3 drops of oil and 1-2 drops of the Enhancer Drops. Doesn’t matter the foundation… this has become the new norm. The result is less actual foundation on my face. I apply in extremely thin layers until I get the finish that I want. I have three of the Custom Enhancer Drops: Moonlight, Sunlight and Candlelight. All of them work beautifully on my skin. I have NOT used them for highlighting purposes because I consider that an extreme waste of this product’s potential. You can use any highlighter on the planet, but to blend or prime (with an moisturizer) with these drops is truly taking them to the next level. You skin literally looks lit from within. I love them, and I’m not sure I’m ever giving them up. Now, all my foundation looks flat to me without them. 🙂

This particular FOTD is Koh Gen Doh Aqua Foundation mixed with Enhancer Drops in Candlelight. Blush is NARS Orgasm. Shadows are from the LORAC PRO Palette (Purple, Garnet and Light Bronze) all kind of mashed together. Lips are Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II and Lipstick Queen Seven Deadly Sins gloss in Avarice.
